Next Fall, Miami University Blockchain Club will be hosting its first annual Blockchain Hackathon, dubbed the "MUBC Blockathon 2019." It will be a 3-day hackathon where students from top undergraduate programs across the United States would travel to Oxford at Miami university to transform their ideas into reality. You don’t
have to have to be a Computer Science major or Engineering student to attend. We’re looking for people who share our passion to do awesome things with technology. It’s a learning experience for students of all skill levels!
We plan to collaborate with some big companies and provide the participants a collaborative
environment, amazing prizes for innovative programming, and a great competition.
You all must be wondering what is a hackathon? A hackathon is an event where people get together, form teams, build something new to solve a problem, and have fun doing it! Some project ideas include websites, mobile apps, robots, and more! A hackathon is an all-inclusive environment, you’ll learn something new and meet people who are passionate about technology.
A 3-day-long hackathon is not everyone's cup of tea. Only the most passionate, driven undergraduates make time in their busy schedules to participate at Miami’s hackathon and code their brightest ideas into reality. We can’t wait to see what you’ll make this year!
We are looking for Sponsors for the event! We want to put on the best event possible students and we need help getting people there! We are very flexible and can provide a budget.
